How to hide items from your recipients?
Shh... Your secret is safe with us! Do you want to surprise your recipient? With the "Hide your item" feature, you can now keep your items secret.
The "Hide Your Item" feature allows you to keep certain items in a gift as a secret from the recipient, adding an element of surprise.
While the recipient will still receive standard email communications about their delivery and gift, you can control which items are visible to them on the Claim Link page and other comunications. This is useful for hiding packaging materials or for making specific gifts a surprise.
When to Use This Feature
You might use this feature to hide an item when:

You want certain gifts to be a surprise.

Your mailing includes logistical items (e.g., custom packaging, display mailers, notecards, or crinkle paper) that you do not want to display to the recipient.

How to Hide Items
You can hide items from a recipient in two ways:
Method 1: During Campaign Creation

Navigate to the Portal and begin creating a new Campaign.

In the second step, "Choose Items" locate the items you have added.

For each item you wish to hide, select the Hidden checkbox in the lower-right corner of the item's card.

The selected items will not be shown to the recipient on any web pages or in any communications.
Method 2: When Creating a Send

While creating a Send, select the Campaign you wish to use.

Click Edit Send to modify the item list for this specific send.

Select the Hidden checkbox for each item you want to hide.

Click Continue and proceed with creating the Send.

Important Information
-
At least one item must remain visible. You cannot hide all items in a Campaign.

The sender's view is unaffected. You will continue to see all items in your Portal and communications. This feature only changes what the recipient sees.

This feature is not compatible with Sends that use the "Pick Your Gift" option or involve items with variants (MSKUs) where the recipient must choose a size or color.
