How to connect HubSpot with IEX to send gifts directly from HubSpot?

Learn how to integrate IEX Platform with HubSpot. This guide covers establishing the connection, configuring the app card interface, and sending gifts directly from HubSpot Contact records.

Part 1: Establishing the Connection

Once the installation is initiated from IEX Plataform Services team, you will need to follow the next steps to set the HubSpot integration.

  1. Navigate to Integration Options.
  2. Click in Install app under the IEX -> HubSpot icon.
  3. You will be redirected to HubSpot; select the specific HubSpot account/organization you wish to connect to the IEX portal.
  4. Click Choose account.
  5. Click Connect app to finalize the authorization.

After the connection is established, you will be redirected back to the IEX portal with a success message.

Verify the status is "Connected" on the Integration Options screen.

Part 2: Configuring the HubSpot Interface

You must configure where the IEX app card appears within your HubSpot Contact records to ensure it is accessible for your team.

  1. In a new tab, navigate to https://www.hubspot.com/
  2. In HubSpot, navigate to the Marketplace icon at the top of the page.
  3. Select Connected Apps.
  4. Navigate to the Apps tab.
  5. Find the IEX Platform Dev application, click Actions, and then select Go to settings.

Manage Locations:

  1. Go back to the Connected Apps.

  2. Click on App cards.

  3. Click Manage locations.

  4. A window will pop from the right, enable the checkbox on the sidebar to activate the card and click Save.

Customize Contact View:

  1. Navigate to CRM and select Contacts.
  2. Open any contact record.
  3. Click Customize to change the location of the IEX card.
  4. Select Default view (or your preferred view).
  5. Locate IEX Platform Dev in the list and drag it to the top (or your desired location) for better visibility.
  6. Click Save and exit.

Part 3: Sending Gifts from HubSpot

Once configured, you can send items directly from a Contact's record. Verify the updated location of the IEX Experience card on your HubSpot contact.

  1. Go to CRM under Contacts.
  2. Navigate to the Campaign you wish to use on the IEX Experience card within the contact record and click Pick.
  3. Review the content in the pop-up window at the right (including options for items with multiple variants).
  4. Select a deal to associate the send with a specific HubSpot deal.
  5. Modify send settings, such as sender and receiver communication preferences.
    1. Recipient notification.
    2. Sender email notification.
    3. Recipient email tracking.
  6. Add any necessary Internal notes.
  7. Click Create send.

You will be redirected to a confirmation screen where you can copy a claim link for manual distribution if needed.

Click View order to see a summary in the IEX portal, or Create new send to return to the Campaign list.

Note: All orders created via HubSpot are tracked in the IEX Platform under the 'HubSpot' send type for easy reporting.
