How do I create a single send?
Learn how to efficiently set up a personalized shipment for a single recipient using the IEX Portal. This guide covers selecting your contact, choosing the appropriate email template, and configuring recurring reminders and custom notes to streamline your workflow.
Phase 1: Shipment Initiation

Navigate to the IEX Portal: https://platform.imprintengine.io

Start a New Send: Select Create Send from the dashboard to initiate a new individual shipment.

Choose Your Gift Type: Select what you want to send by choosing from one of these three options:

Pre-made Campaigns: Select from existing gift options.

Pick Your Gift: An option where the recipient chooses from several different campaigns.

Custom Send: Hand-pick specific items for the recipient to receive.

Review and Continue: If you select a campaign, a window will appear on the right displaying the included items.

If the selection is correct, click Continue.

Phase 2: Recipient and Shipping Details

Enter Recipient Information: fill in the required recipient fields:

First name

Last name

Email address
-

Set the Claim Page: In the Shipping section, toggle the Claim link option to ON.

Set Sender options: Enable Send on behalf and select the appropriate sender from the provided dropdown list.

Proceed to Next Step: Review any pre-populated address information and click Continue.
Phase 3: Email and Reminder Configuration

Compose Your Email: Select a pre-defined email template or write a custom subject line and message.

Important: You must include the
[Delayed Shipping URLs]tag in your message to ensure the recipient receives their Claim Link.

Finalize Configuration: Click Continue to move to the final summary.
Phase 4: Summary and Final Submission

Review Send Summary: Review all details of your shipment. In this section, you can also configure the Expiration date (the default is 60 days).

Enable Reminders: if you want to ensure the gift is claimed, you can set a reminder by checking the Send a reminder box.

Choose how often the recipient should be reminded:

Once a week

Twice a week

Custom

Add Internal Notes: Use the Internal Notes section to add any specific information or instructions for the fulfillment team.

Complete Shipment: Once your Single Send is fully configured, click Create send to finalize the shipment.
