How to create a Direct Send
Creating a Direct Send allows you to send items from your inventory to a specific location without needing to include an email message or create a link.
The Direct Send feature allows you to ship materials—such as swag, products, tradeshow displays, or other items—directly to a designated location for an event, summit, or tradeshow. This ensures your items are available for immediate access upon your arrival.
Steps to create a Direct Send:
- Click
Direct Sendon the IEX portal dashboard.
- Select the inventory items you want to send by clicking the
+icon in the top-right corner of each item.
- Selected items are added to your
Bag(visible in the top-right corner of the screen, next to the Total Price). The+icon will change to agreen check mark.
- Once you have selected all the items you want to include, click
Continuein the bottom-right corner. -
A summary window will appear on the right. Here, you can:

Adjust the quantity for each item.

Hide items you do not want visible to the recipient.

View the total price.

When you are finished adjusting the items, click
Continue.

In the Shipment Information section, fill in the contact and address details for the person receiving the shipment.
- Pro Tip: You can use the Search Contact bar or the Select Address Book option to quickly populate these fields.

- After filling in the information, click
Continue.
- In the Send Summary section, review your send details. You can also adjust the following options:
- Disable sender notifications
- Disable Recipient Tracking Email
- Put on hold
- Internal Notes

- Once you confirm all details are correct, click
Create Send.
After clicking Create Send, you will receive a confirmation. You can track the status of your Direct Send in the Delivery Reports area.
